For decades, BMW Airhead riders have, um, admired the precise German engineering and forethought that must have gone into selecting the oil fill port on a boxer engine. This functional funnel fits the bill for cleanly and easily adding oil to nearly any motorcycle, even ol’ Airheads. Built in reservoir allows pouring oil without holding your breath and squinting. Even fits under most seat compartments. Neato.

- Air head funnelReview by Mike
Sometimes you just have to have the correct tool for the job. This is the correct tool for putting oil into an airhead engine. So easy, no mess

- No clear advantageReview by Joe
This funnel is made from tough, stiff plastic that can hold to tough use and abuse. The small outlet helps you control the oil flow, and the large reservoir allows you to put in a fair amount of oil.
Even so, I have a complaint,. This funnel doesn't solve the Airhead problem, at least for my 2011 R1200GS. Some airheads may leave enough space for you to insert the funnel outlet fully into the cylinder head, but mine doesn't. I still have to hold the outlet completely outside the oil inlet port, which defeats any advantage the funnel may have.
I'm not unfair enough to advise you against buying this funnel, but you should check your clearance first. You may be stuck having to pour oil directly from the bottle into the inlet port. (Posted on 2/10/16)
