Details

Sleep in bed-like comfort with this lightweight cot. Packs small, so it’s convenient for taking along. Set up is quick and painless – no tools required. When assembled, it stands supported by bowed trusses 4” off the ground, so you can sleep on your stomach, back, and even on your side in suspended comfort. If your back can’t handle the cold hard ground, or if you’re tired of sliding off of your sleep pad in the middle of the night, this cot provides the perfect solution. The durable ripstop polyester laminate fabric features a reflective under-coating and sleeps cool in hot weather by allowing air to circulate below you, or combine with a Thermarest pad or Luxurylite Cot Warmer for extreme comfort and added insulation on cold nights. Low profile design so you can even place it underneath your tent. Inside the tent, it will not damage the floor, and outside the tent, no ground cloth is needed. You can walk across the cot without harming it. If you sit on it, your butt will sit on the ground, but when you lay down, you float above the ground. Even if you’re 7’ tall, you’ll sleep great because there are no poles across the ends to hit your head or feet. Also might make a nice parasail when combined with skates and a frozen lake (?). Ultralight aluminum and polycarbonite construction. Supports up to 325 lbs. Comes with carrying bag. Regular 72"×24"×4.5" (set up), 16"×4" (packed), 2 lbs 6 oz. Long 77”x26”x4.5” (set up), 16”x4” (packed), 3 lbs Green. Made in USA

Really very good!Review by jason
The size and weight of this, even with all the bits, is very impressive! I tend to move a lot while asleep, and has been commented on before, its less comfy on my side than on my back. A little more width, or even a lot, would be a good option. I used an ultralight 3/4 length thermarest for insulation and padding between my knee and the side rails when on my side which worked well. Both these still pack smaller than my 2" full length thermarest, and are more comfy!
Downsides? Sleeping a little higher means my face is too close to the tent inner sleeping head away from the tent door. My wife doesn't have one yet, so she sleeps at a different height which is odd. After two nights on a slight slope four feet popped out at the same time, but popped back in were fine for a third night before moving. Its tricky to erect inside my small tent.
Overall worth the cash :) (Posted on 8/2/12)
This thing is genius.Review by Chotzee
I used the four pole set-up and took this backpacking. At just over two pounds, it seemed a small price to pay for the promise of good sleep on those first, sore nights. For me, compact-ness is nearly as important as weight, and the high tech cot is an easy stow.

It performed very well, and was quite comfortable. The temperature dropped into the teens, but with the addition of a space blanket the airflow underneath the cot was not a problem.

If you're a back-sleeper, this cot will absolutely serve you well. I tend to sleep on my sides, and it was still nice, though if you have a choice find a sleeping pad that has adequate width to cover the side poles. My Z-Lite was not quite enough.

I absolutely recommend it if you have the space and can "spend" the two pounds of packweight on it.

Sturdy. Comfortable. Lightweight. Packs small. (Posted on 3/8/12)
Problem solvedReview by smatnz
I used to always hate the first few nights of a camp because I would toss and turn all night and wake up cold, sore, tired and correspondingly grumpy. Air beds and normal cots are too big to carry in a ruck sack or on the bike and the 2cm thick Thermarest with foam underlay that I currently use is barely tolerable. After a particularly bad night I decided enough was enough, so dug deep and bought the ultra light cot. What a fabulous piece of kit! I am 6'3" and 100kg but this little cot took me to slumberland like nothing else. I woke up with a smile and a happy body and you can't put a price on that! (Posted on 2/29/12)
Hi-Tec CotReview by Pathfinder
Every time I set up my Hi-Tec cot my riding/camping buddy makes fun of all of the pieces.. Then later in the night while he tosses and turns I am snug as a bug . Great piece of equipment....makes camping oh so comfortable for my senior citizen bones... (Posted on 12/2/11)
High Tech CotReview by Tom
This thing rocks! I sleep as well (or maybe better!) than I do in my bed at home. Pricey? Yes, a little bit, but the great sleep is worth it!

A little "fiddly" to put together the first time, but after that it's easy and intuitive. (Posted on 9/18/11)
very coolReview by Deb
doing the Hoka Hey 10K endurance ride in a few days. We are required to camp in all conditions. I tested the cot last night and it's awesome. Lite, packs small and it's comfy. It may be a bit on the narrow side for some but works for my 130lb build. (Posted on 7/28/11)
Great Cot!!Review by Jeff Curl
This cot is fantastic. I've spent hundreds of nights on the ground - and last week was by far the most comfortable because I was on my new cot! Set up and take down are EZ (really) - but do yourself a favor and watch the video. I bought three of these cots and got high praise from my wife and friend - they loved the cot - big points! I toss and turn a lot and the first night my sleeping mat scooted off the cot. The next night I wrapped two straps around my mat and cot and the rest of the week was heavenly. One night my mat partially deflated on me - which usually is quite a annoying, but with the cot I didn't even notice until morning when I was packing up! Packs up super small and at 2 or so pounds I'll be very tempted to take it backpacking. I even spent a night on the cot in a hotel when we had more folks than beds - I was grateful I didn't have to lay on the disgusting carpet! I won't leave home without this again!! (Posted on 6/24/11)
Two Trips to Alaska and one trip to Inuvik Review by Mr Mac
I love this cot, I have used well over 50 nights camping and holding up great. I have a slight tear after so many use that this cot owes me nothing and keep on going strong. Highly recommend and would buy again. (Posted on 6/1/11)
9 days 3600 miles no pain!!!Review by Rock man
I went on a trip spent 7 of the 9 nights on the cot with a 1/2 " pad and slept better than in the hotels. I had a bulging disc in my neck 6 months prior to trip and was very worried about getting a stiff neck but no pain very comfortable. (Posted on 1/15/10)
Great!Review by Judge
I am 68 yrs young. I absolutely love this cot. I am rather rotund and it is the most comfortable thing going. It it is a little cool, just add a 1/4" ensolite pad and the insulation is wonderful. I heartily reccommend it. (Posted on 12/19/09)
