Aerostich Insulated Triple Digit Glove Covers #443

Experience summer-warm hands on autumn and winter rides. An extra-thick inner fleece layer across the backside of the Insulated Triple Digit Glove Covers provide more warmth, and a lighter fleece across the palm allows for a close, comfortable grip on the bars. The three-digit design gives your fingers their full clutch and brake use. These are just oversize enough to be easily pulled over regular crash-protective gloves, and the outer shell is a fully seam-taped, breathable/waterproof ripstop nylon; so even on all-day rides, your hands will never get clammy. An unadorned design lets them pack small when not needed. Draft-eliminating wrist cinches are ergonomically reversed for easy adjustment. Oversize gauntlets have a one-handed elastic draw cord with a tethered cord lock, and there’s a wedge of Scotchlite reflective across the outside for nighttime viz. Great for all outdoor winter activities as well as motorcycle riding. Enjoy warmer hands on all-day rides and cold morning commutes. Blue. M–XL.

Product Reviews

Once I got over having Pappa Smurf hands, I loved them. It was dry out this AM, but at 45 degrees (I know, but that IS cold in Florida) and 2 hrs to Orlando, they did the job. My hands stayed toasty the whole way.
Highly recommended. -bruce martin Monday, May 5, 2008

These insulated covers work over a pair of the Elk Skin Gauntlets down to the low teens with no electric heat. I've ridden as far as 250 miles in cold weather and experienced warmth like no other glove set even without glove liners. However they did take a few hundred miles to really break-in. I am considering a pair of the non-insulated rain covers now. My sole suggestion is the insulated covers should be easier to find on your web site under gloves! -FastFred Ruddock Monday, May 5, 2008

I am impressed with this rain cover's ability to block the wind and preserve warmth. In that category, I'd give it a 8 or 9 out of 10. I would suggest a couple of modifications, however. First: The cuff strap isn't long enough to go around my wrist, even with a medium to light pair of leather gloves. the strap needs to be about 2-3" longer. Second: The rain wiper is located too far down on the thumb to be effective when the rider wears a helmet like the Arai XD as I do. It has a visor and positioning the thumb wiper high enough to wipe a face shied under such a visor is a difficult task and puts way too much "hand" in front of the face. This can be a real problem in rainy weather when the rider needs a quick wipe in heavy traffic. Other than that, I like these units alot. -Donald Daugherty Monday, May 5, 2008
