This horn reminds me one from a 60’s model, steel laden Cadillac. From the sound of this thing cagers will think it is either a train, truck or some other huge Detroit beast coming at them. It definitely gets their attention.

I installed this horn on my '01 Harley Ultra Classic and, after 100,000 miles, on my replacement '08 Utlra Classic. I love this horn. It is compact, easy to install and LOUD. The only problem I had on both these installation is the body of the horn separated from the compressor. This was easily fixed on the road with a one foot long cable tie (surely you travel with these things on your bike). Simply slide the body back into position and secure with the cable tie. It takes less than a minute for this unobtrusive repair. This also happened to a friend of mine who bought the horn on my recommmendation. Another thing that happened to my two horns and my friends it a rather rapid deterioration of the chrome finish. This doesn't bother me much. A litttle more attention to detail in the design and production of these horns would make it the best deal around. Harely sells a similar horn that might be better built but it costs about $130. Nothing quite shouts "respect me, respect my space" like this little wonder. This is the "bomb" for real, unless you trailer a Kahlenberg D-2 or a Doran-Cunningham 6-B ship's horn! Seriously, this thing is so loud, it is probably illegal in California by now. I would LOVE to pull alongside Paris and Nicole at 6:00AM, when they are driving from the nightclub back to rehab, and light this sucker off!! Talk about scared straight. I LOVE this horn. My husband moved to a distant second in the ratings game after I installed this horn, or "The Horn of Death" as it has been christened. Everyone within six blocks of the shop knows I have a new horn. It makes small children cry (or make that trucker-honk-your-horn gesture), bad drivers soil themselves, and that teenage girl with the gigantic sunglasses who pretends no one else exists dump her double latte right down the front of her pretty little blouse and all over the seats of Daddy's SUV. Aaaahhh... And life is good. I love the silent power of my r1100rt bmw. However, at times noise saves lives. I made the mistake of trying the ear cannon for the first time within the confines of my garage. Now I can't even hear my buddies Harleys. I have never been more pleased with any product. On my bike I had to remove the horn bracket and modify it a little on the grinder. I am recovering and will be fine by spring. I can't wait to see people fleeing before me while looking for the giant semi they are sure is about to crush them. I wanted a horn to make up for the weak stock unit on my uly. It actually fit under the small fairing, although it is larger than typical horns. This thing is exceptionally loud, bone jarring, spinal decalcifying, slap you out of a day-dream loud. Which is exactly the point.
