I bought the Stebel Nautilus Compact air horn and hooked it up with a relay according to the directions and was really disappointed. Maybe I received a defective unit but I replaced it with the high and low freeway blasters with the same relay setup. The first time I let my son here the horns he almost jumped out of his skin. I could not be more pleased with the sound of the Fiamm's. Much easier to mount than the Stebel and more mounting options. -Terry Walker
This little horn is all I could have wanted, and more, expecially for the price! One bolt installation, mine needed no relay ; Just plug and go. It really blasts compared to the factory horn. LOTS of "blast for the buck!".

While it is louder than the stock horn, I wasn't really all that impressed with the volume. From the description, I expected much more.

Sounded great...until it failed. It lasted less than a year. Now, instead of a roar it emits a muffled "murf." I can not recommend this product. (M109R owner) -John Mirdo
If you're looking for a louder setup than the whimpy stock horn that makes you wonder why OEM even bothered, get the whole high horn + low horn (and relay, if needed) setup and be happy. Mount it as far forward on your bike as possible and watch the cagers slam their brakes at the flick of a button.
This setup saved my hide within two days of mounting. Driver comes to a stop sign. I'm riding perpendicular with no stop sign. He sees me. I continue. He rolls forward and looks the other way. I spank the horn. That mofo slammed on his brakes like a semi was comin'
gotta love it. -Camilo Santana

I could not find the 130 dB figure on Fiamm's website. But I did find one of 110 dB.
Horn sound power levels seem to be given at 4" and at 2 meters. If the 110 dB figure is measured at 2 meters, then the 4" number would probably be close to 130. A level of 120 dB will perforate your eardrums, so I suspect that the 130 dB level is measured at 4".
It would be cool if you could post the URL to where you found the 130 dB figure on Fiamm's website. -Lyle Gunderson
Fiamm's website claims 130, not 112 -Nick Di Croce
Fiamm's website claims this unit only delivers 112dB, not 132 as claimed by Aerostitch. -Steve Nunya
