Roadcrafter Two Piece Jacket and Pants #125

Zipped together, it’s as fast and convenient to use as the one piece version, yet either part can be worn separately. The jacket overlaps the pants by about six inches and is attached with a securely sewn zipper to stand up to stress and hard use. The pants have a waist drawstring with cordlocks, and there are two additional pockets sewn into the lining that are accessible behind the flaps covering the side zippers. All the features of the one piece design are included in the two piece, making it the most versatile rider’s suit available. 500 Denier Cordura® GORE-TEX® outer fabric. Standard suit colors: black, grey, red, hi-viz lime yellow, or cobalt blue. Standard ballistics: black, grey, red, hi-viz lime yellow, cobalt blue, or silver. Product Reviews

I purchased a 2 piece Roadcrafter suit from a friend. It was a couple of years old but had less than 2K miles on it. He sold it because he claimed it shrunk and he couldn't get into in anymore:). I have owned it for a year and have used it for commuting 100 miles round trip to work on one of my two motorcycles. Overall I was happy with it, but I recently took a three-day weekend trip with the girlfriend on a rented sport-touring bike and as we were loading up gear and trying to leave our hotel for the trip home, about 300 miles, we were in a race against the weather. We attempted to leave a little early to get in front of inclement weather closing in from behind us. As I was in the parking lot zipping up my Roadcrafter suit, the mesh got hung up in the zipper on the rear vent on the back. After messing with it for a few minutes I got the zipper closed. Then, the left leg zipper failed. After rolling around on the sidewalk trying to get the zipper reattached I realized it was futile. I unzipped the pants from the jacket, rolled them up and abandoned them under the staircase at the hotel. There was no room on the bike for them, we were alone, not with a group, and I didn't have time to arrange for shipping them home early on a Sunday morning in a small town. As with my Vanson leathers and other motorcycle garments I have owned, zippers are their Achilles heel. -Daniel Byram

I was recently involved in a high speed accident while riding on unfamiliar roads. Each accident will have it's own characteristics. I assure you that having on full gear including my Roadcrafter and roper gloves, allowed me to stand up (after I stopped sliding) with only the wind knocked out of me. The impact and abrasion resistance is impressive. After my accident, I am even more convinced that we should never ride without full gear.

Suit custom made and delivered in record time! Fit and build quality excellent. Probably the most comfortable motorcycle clothing I have worn. My thanks to all at Aerostich for their efforts. -SELWYN SMITH
