This flip-open, communication-ready helmet is designed to integrate with the N-Com helmet communication system. The easy-to-use, center positioned latch, releases with a quick flip of the chinbar, and a double articulating pivot mechanism keeps the open chinbar closer to the top of the helmet for less drag, away from your upper field of vision. A short, dark tinted, secondary shield/visor mounted on the outside of the shell, moves (and removes — replacement covers included) independently from the faceshield. The clear, optically neutral, faceshield is hardened for long life and can be removed without tools. Adjustable vents keep the faceshield clear and your head cool. The liner is made of the usual eps energy absorbing material with plenty of vented cooling channels. The velour padded retention strap features a quick-release Microlock. Constructed of GE Lexan® polycarbonate with a protective clear coat. This is a quiet, light, luxuriously lined lid that fits oval heads best. Exceeds D.O.T. safety standards.
