Traveller walletReview by Robert
The "slim" theme was rendered ineffective by making it a trifold. Was 1.3" thick after putting my corrent wallet's contents in. (Posted on 12/8/16)
Vanguard walletReview by Chilly Willy
I got the Vanguard version. I have been looking for a new small wallet for a while. I've been carrying a credit card holder as a wallet in my front pocket for years. It was coming apart and desperately needed to be replaced.
The Vanguard is the wallet I found that came closest to my requirements. It needed to be small, fit in my front pocket easily, and carry a fair number of cards. Right now I'm carrying 12 plastic cards and ID's, plus 2 paper insurance cards, and half a dozen dollar bills. That's about the maximum you can comfortably carry with this wallet. I think I'd be happier if I could drop about 2 cards out of the mix. But the wallet is handling the load just fine.
I found out about this wallet from a friend who showed me theirs. It was looking a bit beat up, but was still totally intact and functional after several years of use. I expect I'll be using mine for years to come. (Posted on 4/16/16)
Minimalist is the right word. Review by Holden
I bought the Minimalist direct from the manufacturer for a dollar more, so this is a good deal. I guess you can't choose the color, though. The Minimalist is ultra tough, featherweight and so thin it was mailed in a letter envelope. It's perfect if you carry just a license, 2 credit cards, a debit card, work ID and insurance card in your front pocket. With a Minimalist, you carry your cash separately; I use a money clip.
