Good read ... Bed ending

As far as travel logs go this is one of the better that I have read. At least the first 2/3 was. Personally I really liked the situation that the author put himself in. That is as the less experienced rider along with two others who had much more riding under their belt. His humor and self reflection was fun and helped make the story really enjoyable.
In the end however the story, just like the ride, fall apart. I really had hopped for a happy ending but instead there's a lot of unfinished business that never really gets resolved leaving me feeling unsatisfied.
