Bike Krutch
Review by Goldwing510 on 7/26/11 -
I'm going to have to send this back. It is certainly not made for a Goldwing. I had to screw it "almost" all the way to end of the treads before it made contact. I don't think it would support much at that point and if the wing was to go tip over I'd be afraid the krutch would bend, brake and possibly go through the valve cover. I wish y'all made one a little bigger and more solid for big bikes like the Goldwing.

Great Safety Feature
Review by Bill on 8/24/10 -
A neighborhood child walked into my garage one afternoon, sat on my bike(on sidestand), leaned hard to the right, and my bike fell into the wall. Thank goodness the child was uninjured. Of course the child did not say a word about this. My children told me about it later. I went to the child's parents, frantically asking if the child was ok. The parents did not know about it, so they confronted their child. The child's parents paid for repairs.
Now that I have a Boss Hoss, when I park it where crowds may be, I use the Krutch under the right side of the frame. Inexpensive insurance to keep my bike from being knocked over onto its right side!

Not Very Robust
Review by jjgoodwin3 on 3/10/10 -
I've owned this product for 4 years and got it originally to assist in chain lubing a Triumph America. Not a light bike, but not a huge pig either. This unit had to be extended almost it's full length to be useful. At that length the threaded section flexes enough to make one very nervous working around the bike (front brake lever tied back to keep the bike from moving). It was also useful stabilizing the bike during a ferry crossing, again, the unit flexed quite a bit but performed as intended. It is functional, but certainly not a replacement for a centerstand (now available for the Triumph America) on the road or a bike jack in the garage. I keep this in a saddlebag for emergencies to help others, I have a BMW with a centerstand now ;-)
