Had to borrow this tool when riding "naked."
Review by Cage on 4/21/10 -
Took a short (260 mi) daytrip to coast with friends, so I stripped the bags on my VTX figuring, what could happen? Didn't bring my tool kit, either. Lost all power out in the middle of swamps and cotton fields. This tool was stock issue to a friend riding a Yamaha VStar. So I figured it couldn't be all that great, but better than the rocks and sticks available. Was able to remove and replace all seat nut and bolts and tighten battery cable back down securely. Felt good and worked well for job at hand. Price, size and convenience seem compatible for day or weekend trips. I'd have more sense than to think this was meant for an Outback or Peruvian tour, however. It did the job and is comiserate with the price given. I'd throw it in my basic light tool case if I couldn't get something "better" to start out.

I must own more than half the items on this site and have been quite pleased with most of them. This "toolkit" is a distinct exception. Noting like having this thing break the first use in the Peruvian Andes.
