Review by Mark Mederski on 5/23/07

I just did a 1500 mile trip through the northeast, the weekend after Thanksgiving, but in a car. I came across at least 15 - 20 speed traps. This detector saved me at least one ticket, maybe three, though the first one may have made me slow down. I came home unscathed. It's a somewhat large heavy unit compared to the old Escorts, but of greater capacity. It runs off the auto or bike battery, is not battery powered. I have not tested it with a a cabled earphone. The screen on mine is the optional blue and is hard to read in bright sun, but it's really the audible signals you need anyway. With today's fines and our desire to ride with the flow or faster, you'll pay for it in 18 months.
