Didn't Work
Review by OldGuy on 9/23/11 -
Mounted this on a wind screen bolt but couldn't get an accurate reading. The adjustments helped but not enough. Compass worked fine when held in my hand. Obviously needs to be mounted well away from metal parts. Unfortunately I never could find a place on my bike where it worked properly. Was bummed about it.

works but....
Review by chuckwalla on 9/22/11 -
Installed with included bracket on my 650 v strom the compass spun in circles as though it was an electric motor. Purchased the extra handlebar mount, removed inner piece and wrapped a layer of bicycle inner tube between handlebars and mount. Now works good.

moto compass
Review by chuckwalla on 8/30/11 -
Mounted this first with the slotted bracket it came with and it spun around like a top from engine vibration. (650 v strom) Ordered the handle bar bracket (fits both 1" and 7/8" bars) removed the inner 7/8 piece and wrapped a piece of bicycle tube once around the handle bar and used the handlebar bracket. Now it is acceptable. Nice, but too bad it only comes in chrome.

Compass
Review by Philip on 7/20/11 -
I have tried many different compass set ups & this is the first one that actually works on a motorcycle. Very well made with excellent mounting brackets. I should have purchased this compass a long time ago, it WORKS.
