I installed the hyperlites and they really get noticed . I find cars stay back further away from the bike. When Im stopped at a traffic light and I see the speed demon closing in on my back door they start slowing down now.

I mounted these lights the week after a cager bumped me from behind at a red light. He was already stopped when he decided he'd lean over the passenger seat to write in his journal, releasing his foot from the brake pedal.
With the Hyper Lites, I find that cars will now put about 10 meters of space behind me at stops! I can now continue to commute with a little less fear.

these lights work great! I rode behind Bill Shockley who went to south america in 05 and liked the warning that he was about to stop. i put a set on my R100GS/PD when i rode down to Terra del Fuego and back up through the Amazon and never got rear-ended. they still work great and i just bought another set for another of my bikes. i wish they were cheaper as i have 6 bikes that need them for MY safety......
