Cheap Life InsuranceReview by Jeffrey
I bought this horn a while back and after 20 incidents stopped counting how many times it has saved my life - including this morning on the ride in when a guy in a giant F350 decided to change lanes without looking. I live and commute amongst the self-absorbed masses of yuppie iphone wankers here in Seattle and am just absolutely thrilled with the results of this horn. **** Please, Please, PLEASE consult a variety of sources before giving up on installing this horn. I struggled for hours trying to fit it onto my 2002 CBR 954RR until a buddy pointed me to some youtube videos and gave me the tips I needed. The body of the horn (the compressor) separates form the horn itself quite easily. I mounted the compressor under my tail compartment, and with about $4.00 of parts from Home Depot epoxied on a small brass nipple, ran some clear flexible tubing up to the horn and attached the leads to the battery. (*I did by the wiring harness). Once you free your mind from having to figure out how to mount the unit as one piece it totally opens up the options. Due to the extremely limited options for mounting on the 954, I actually ended up drilling some pilot holes into the horn flange and using zip ties to secure it. It's so far lasted 5,000 miles, wheelies, and 152mph run across Eastern Washington...not to mention mixing it up with all the commuters here in Seattle. mounting on a 1200 HDReview by KIP
Not Shure,
I mounted my steibel where my 'little' disk horn used to be. My '94 HD horn was mounted left front below the peanut tank. I slid the bolt out that mounts the coil and gas tank took of f the old horn and spacer, and mounted the steibel in it's place. I aligned it parallel to the line of the tank and made sure I had clearence for the fork tube in a hard left, nothing touches or rubs. The relay was mounted with the coil so the wires only had a short distance to go. Horn wires connected to the relay coil, ground to the coil mount and relay negative and relay positive ran to the battery positive. Plug your ears and test! Yes, it's loud and will get immediate attention from everyone. (Posted on 7/27/10)

installed --it's louder than the stock or any other stock horn --no question but does make anybody jump. pretty sure, actually postive a 10 wheeler unless traveling at 25 miles a hour with the windows down would hear it.. i'm happy with it ,but it's just O K (Posted on 5/28/10)
Just used it!Review by Glad to have it
30 minutes ago this horn saved me from being run over by a truck turning left in front of me. It's the only reason I'm not under an effing truck. Enough said? (Posted on 5/17/10)
Just about loud enoughReview by Tom in Eau Claire WI
I would say that it is just about loud enough. I haven't had a chance to use this yet other than testing it out but I do know that after my Dad and I got it installed we had to test it out. My Mom was about 75ft away on her riding lawn mower mowing the grass and she just about came off the seat and was hollering at us to quit messing around. LOL I think we might have woken her up!
