The stuff has a funky acidic, vinegar, sour smell. Kind of like RV silicone. It does as it advertises and works best on tight weaved and wax cotton products, like Filson and Belstaff, but I cannot stand the smell, it doesn't go away. Save your money and touch up and re-proof your products with the refinish wax (product #1331).
