Cosmetic onlyReview by Jaime
These sleeves are pretty much worthless, I'm afraid. They look good on the Kanetsu AirVantage Electric Vest in that they match the fabric and color but other than the cosmetic effect of "looking good" I can't think of any reason why anyone would want them.

They provide no insulation whatsoever, they simply block the wind. That would be great if they were worn OVER a thick sweater however wearing the vest over a thick sweater defeats its purpose as it places a thick, insulating layer BETWEEN the heating elements and your body so I just don't get the point.

The older AirVantage vests used to be made out of the thick fleece with matching fleece sleeves and those worked just fine.

I'd pass on these sleeves and go with the fleece sleeves which are still available, but don't match the color of the vest. As of this writing it is a different (lighter) shade of blue which actually doesn't look bad at all. (Posted on 4/17/17)
Excellent!Review by Brian
Bought these to complete my vest. Zippers are flawless and the seal is tight. No wind getting in there! They do their job in providing full upper torso coverage underneath my Darien Hi-Viz jacket which, by the way, is my all-time favorite jacket. Keep up the good work guys. Your stuff is the best! Great accessory for Kanetsu vestReview by Ed from Charlotte
I'd had a set of the fleece zip-off sleeves for my AIRVANTAGE vest several years, and they've worked very well under cold-weather textile jackets... they have, however been just a little too bulky to work inside the "Brand V" leather jackets I wear much of the year here in NC.

These Windstopper sleeves, on the other hand are j-u-s-t enough thinner through the bicep/forearm areas to work perfectly under the leathers- no more too-snug bunched-up feeling, yet with all of the normal convenience of being attached to the (delightfully warm!) vest.

Two thumbs up! (Posted on 1/29/13)
