I ordered medium size, I'm about 6' and hover around 180lbs and the size is perfect, fits well over a dickies workshirt and a t-shirt without being too tight. Fits well under my leathers as well, it's not bulky. It's a nice windbreak on the bike - I rode with it through 60's and rain through NH mountains into northern Vermont with the Stich warmer bib and some rain gear and was very comfortable. It won't keep you warm if its cold out, obviously, but it's a good extra layer. It's great for lounging around after the ride too.
A black color would be nice since I'm a messy eater and other than that, two hand pockets would be awesome.
The price is high, but it's nice to have kicking around in the trunk.
Works as described, an excellent layer that really does stop the wind and chills from getting through. Be advised however that the sizes run a bit big,(I'm 5'10" and 155lbs.) I got a Med. and I think it's sized for a medium-sized Gorilla! Even so it works 'cause I can pull it over my sweater and tuck it waaaaay down into my riding pants so no drafts below. Buy one, you'll be happy. (Posted on 2/15/13)
Sizing on this shirt was an issue. I'm an XL. Hearing these run large, I bought the large size. It has a snug fit, but not too snug for use on the motorcycle. One layer is really all I see wearing under this the way it fits. I like windbreaker type pullovers for hanging around and have several, but don't see this as serving that function for me in most cases. It might be too restrictive. maybe not so after break in.I have ridden in cold weather twice with this shirt without heated vest turned on and works as described to block out cold. I think the XL might be too loose to do the job I'm looking for it to do. But then again, I'd have to actually try on the XL to be sure. (Posted on 2/12/13)
Great product but poor sizing information. Since previous reviews recommend ordering up one size, I ordered an xl. I am 5'11", 200 lbs with a 38" waist. I wear a 46 jacket and a 16/33 dress shirt. The xl was huge measuring 26" from pit to pit.
Returned it for a large, it measures 24" from pit to pit and fit much better. It is cut square with plenty of arm length and enough hem to tuck into pants. Great service from Aerostich. (Posted on 1/8/13)
Great shirt, keeps the wind out & keeps you warm & comfortable. It is worth the money. Depending on the weather sometimes I use it instead of my jacket liner and if it is cold I will wear it in addition to my jacket liner. (Posted on 10/21/12)
Lightweight, warm, very packable. I keep it in my saddlebags always for a cool morning/evening ride. Plus, it makes me look a bit like Cpt. Kirk, which I like! Kinda pricey, though. (Posted on 5/22/12)
I purchased this jersey after seeing one worn by a fellow rider. It is pricey, but probably worth the expense. I bought the green, looks very classy. I had mine sent to work, and when it came in I put it on over a short sleeve tee. All of my co workers commented on the jersey, saying how nice it looked.
I wore the jersey on a overnight motorcycle camping trip, the weather was wet or damp the entire weekend, but the Wind stopper stayed dry and comfy. Received another compliment or two at the rally. More colors should be offered, I would absolutely recommend this product. (Posted on 5/15/12)
