This is, hands down, my most useful and versatile piece of riding gear. As a layer between a t-shirt and my riding jacket, it adds a significant amount of warmth just by blocking the wind. It's also thin and light, and doesn't add a lot of bulk. This shirt goes with me everywhere I ride. (Posted on 9/20/08)
I have this shirt in blue and I am ordering the tan one also. I wear the windstopper almost continuously year round. In the summer I take out the bulky coat liner and use the shirt instead.Same warmth without the bulk.I recommend this shirt to all my friends.A co-worker also purchaced one for when he drives his dune buggy.Great piece of gear! This shirt is great. It makes an ideal layer over my heated vest (under my suit) to keep the wind from robbing my heat. It is especially nice since my Roadcrafter tends to let a lot of cold air in through the armpits.
I wear a 42-44 and weigh 192. The Large fits well over the arms - not too big to bunch up - and had enough room underneath for a longjohn top and vest or sweatshirt. Probably room for more under there, too, but I'm not riding in Antarctica...
