Good as Intended Review by Rich

I've had the same pair of these emergency rain pants for 2 years now. Most of the time they stayed stowed in my solo bag, being used 5-6 times a year. They used to perform great. This evening a 1/2 hour ride in moderate rain revealed the dreaded crotch leak. A closer inspection shows that the seam tape in the crotch has started to peel up. (The description says "seam sealed, but they are not. They are seam taped. There is a difference).
Ultimately, I figure that 2 years is a good shelf life, and I will probably purchase another pair. I wouldn't don them if I was leaving the house and it was already raining heavily. But I would, and do, keep them on the bike at all times and they have kept my jeans dry up until now. (Posted on 6/14/11)

Perfect. Review by William

I was a little worried when I ordered these pants based on the one review. Boy, was I surprised! I usually wear a 33-33 in jeans and I ordered the medium long. They fit perfectly. Sealed zippers unlike anything I have seen. Super light weight. Only improvement I can think of is that if the side zippers were full length I wouldn't have to take off my boots to get them on. I think they're worth the money. Nice pants! (Posted on 12/17/10)

Low riding rain pants? Review by brian

The good: packs down to nothing, lightweight, the zippers look almost water-proof.
The bad: They sit rather low on the hips for rain pants. The few that I've had before have always pulled up to around the navel. I'm 5'8 and I ordered a medium. The pants only come to the belt line. I'd like to see them higher. (Posted on 12/26/09)
