Very good gloves, very comfortable, breath well. The squidgy thing on the thumb is pretty useless, but it doesn't detract in any way from a good set of gloves. And without dead animal on them! (Posted on 10/23/11)
Bought my first pair 3 years ago. Extremely comfortable fit. Good for temperature between 40 and 75 degrees F, including riding in rain (if you prefer control/feel to waterproof). Replacing them due to wear and tear, frayed fabric on one finger. Sizing is slightly smaller than regular (letter-sized) gloves. To get best fit, buy your regular siza AND one size larger, then return one. Highly recommend this glove. (Posted on 10/20/11)
A great glove at a great price. Unlike some reviews I have not had any problems with stiching or construction. They run a little small so order the next size larger to insure a fine fit. (Posted on 10/20/11)
Picked these gloves up for the fall riding season. First ride out got caught in rain for the last 60 miles. Though not waterproof, my fingers stayed pretty warm. Hit Central NH this weekend for a swift 250 miler, again toasty fingers on the cool ride back, but didn't cause over-heating during the afternoon which was in the 80's. They're a little stiff when you first use them and I thought I was wearing a baseball glove for the first few hours but they are breaking in nicely. Great construction, hopefully I won't be crash testing them to validate that statement. (Posted on 10/12/11)
When I got my Vegan hot weather gloves, I wondered how much protection they would provide since they don't look very durable. I have worn them for 3 seasons and they are very comfortable in even the hottest weather. I had the unfortunate chance to test them when I hit a deer at 70 mph. The palm protector was torn on my right glove and knuckle protectors were worn down on both, but the only damage to my hands was a small spot above the cuff on my right hand, (Posted on 9/1/11)
Good glove. Has saved my Knuckles on a 50 mph get off from a hit and run.
does run a little small so get the next one up.
Has a weaknesses tho.
The stitching on the right hand at the thumb web gave out.
The stitching from other reviews seems to be the major problem of an otherwise good glove.
The first 2 finger tip material need to be more substantial to last longer.
Also the glove seems to have a lifespan not much longer than the warranty.
Worn as a daily use thru good days, rain and chilly weather.
Still, ordered a another as I like it's protection
Please fix the problems. (Posted on 8/18/11)
I am known as the Imelda Marcos of gloves among my friends. These may just be the last style gloves that I buy. Well, maybe not but so far these have been the very best gloves I've ever bought. Just returned from a 300 mile trip in temps ranging from 60-90+, and I couldn't be happier with the fit and feel of the gloves. They are a bit snug, but the fingers aren't short, so the feel is one of support instead of tightness. Not hot at all. The location of the squeegee is a bit lame, but that's not a decision point for me.. (Posted on 8/7/11)
Recently purchased after previous pair of el' cheapo, made in India "leather" gloves turned my skin purple after a bit of rain.
Was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these gloves are, sadly after only 1 days worth of riding both seams along the thumbs started to come apart.
Would like to see XXL size offered as well. (Posted on 5/24/11)
I have both the cold wx and the hot wx Vegan gloves and they're both great. However, the plastic strap that goes around the wrist is failing at the stitching. The strap is about to come off both pairs because the stitches that hold the strap are too close to the end of the strap and it's tearing off there. Still love, them just know I'm going to have to get more sooner, rather than later. (Posted on 2/14/11)
These are quite comfortable and seem like they'd be reasonably protective. I use mine as wet weather gloves. Although they are not waterproof (nor advertised as such), they will repel rain for awhile when sprayed with Scotch Guard. They dry fast too. Be aware that they run small and you may need to order a size larger than normal. (Posted on 1/24/11)
