Work As AdvertisedReview by Mark
I used these on a recent cc trip across the country and back. Several heavy rainstorms, sweat from desert heat, etc, got my gloves, Schuberth Helmet wet, and my feet sweat. These dogs were fairly easy to pack, and I used them every night in helmet, gloves, and boots. Result, boots dry out and don't smell, helmet dries out and doesn't smell, gloves is moist from sweat will have same result, if rain soaked, will take longer to dry. I am glad I got these, they work well and compact size make them easy to pack.

Downside; as others state, the straps - especially on boot dogs, could be longer by about 10". I may make my own modification. The boot dogs could probably be longer themselves, but are adequate.

My review: Very Good! (Posted on 6/24/16)
Works as advertised, but...Review by Neil S.
These dogs live up to their claims. Gloves that used to take upwards of two days(!) to dry (and never really completely dry inside) are ready in less than 24 hours. Helmets that tend to retain an acrid smell (due to sweat) even after completely drying now always smell freshly washed. Gore-Tex boots that are a pain to keep dry (so they don't end up being breeding grounds for fungus colonies) are now always ready and rarin' to go.

Now here comes the catch.

The items I received (with the exception of the glove dogs) are about half the size as show in the products' pages. The helmet dog looks like it fills up most of the helmet; it takes everything the one I own has to occupy even just where the back of my head ends up. The boot dogs are show to extend from the footbed to the top of the boot: mine go from the tip of the toes to *almost* the heel.

I'd bet the drying effect will be much enhanced if I had two helmet dogs and two pairs of boot dogs. Or if the dogs I got were the same size as those (apparently) used in the product pages' images.

TL;DR: Do they work? *Abso-frickin'-lutely*. I just wish they were a little bigger. (Posted on 12/20/11)
Works as advertised, but...Review by Neil S.
Rode through a tropical storm two days from this review's date. I was wet, and though a little cold, was still sweating bullets due to the humidity. Stopped for a few hours to eat and rest; when we were ready to get back on the road, my helmet was dry-ish and had none of the usually acrid smell from my sweat. When I got home, stuffed my soaked gloves with the glove dogs. They used to take upwards of two days(!) to dry; they were ready again in less than 24 hours. My Gore-Tex boots have always been a concern; I still haven't figured out how to clean their insides.

As I said, they all work as advertised. My main gripe is that the items I *did* get (with the exception of the glove dogs) aren't of the same size as those implied in the product pages. For example, the boot dogs look like they're supposed to fill most of the boot. Mine fits only the footbed of my boots. The helmet dog's product image makes it look like it should fill most of the helmet. Mine is maybe half the size.

I'd bet the helmet and boot dogs would be more effective if I had two of each. Or if the items I got were as big as those from the product pages. (Posted on 12/20/11)
