  1. Great Innershell
Well made. Looking forward to understanding its effect on cold-day warmth.
I'm 5'8" and 155 lb. I ordered medium. It fits snuggly over a polartech sweater/jacket. Sleeves are about 32 and neck is about 15.

  2. Nice shell
This is a nicely made shell. As a wind barrier it works well, I have only had it in light rain so far and it was dry as well.

High points: It is very well made, material around neck is soft and it snugs up nicely around the neck, elastic around waist and cuffs helps seal out drafts, is cut roomy enough to fit over a fleece for more warmth when walking about.

Could be better: A second pocket would be welcomed, diagonal zipper might be better if it were vertical and a little longer.

All in all a nice lightweight weatherproof shell that works, recommended.

  3. Great jacket
Fit and finish are top notch, as you'd expect from Aerostitch. I like the soft collar and it's doing exactly what I want/expect - keep me warm and dry in the cold and wet. Good stuff! Thanks, guys.

  4. works as advertised
No wind will pass! Haven't worn it in rainy conditions, but the innershell is light, packs into nothing and is a joy to use.

  5. Aerostich lightweight liner
Nice lightweight liner, seems pretty windproof but still breathable, haven't riden in any rain with it yet but hopefully its waterproof, I don't like the short shoulder zipper because its about impossible to open or close without taking your outer jacket off first, wish it had a normal full length zipper right down the center instead, the liner packs neat and easy into its own built in pocket which makes it great for not taking up much luggage space and very easy to find when you need it.

  6. Lightweight and warm
I was looking for a waterproof barrier, because I just don't trust my jacket.
WOW. I am impressed. This lightweight shell does the job and the collar comes up under the chin just right. I am 6'1" about 238 lbs. with a 17.5" neck and ordered the XL. It is loose enough for a fleece jacket when its 35 degrees, a little warm if its over 55 degrees.

  7. Aerostich Light Weight Innershell
This is my second shell. It works well on those days when my mesh jacket just isn't enough to keep me warm. It packs up in my side case and is ready at a moments notice. Very high quality. Plan to use for many miles.

  8. Awesome, innovative. 5 stars. Where's my phaser...
Easy to don & doff. I really like the fact that it's a MUSA (Made in USA) product. I am 6"2", 190 pounds, and wear a size 44 Tall men's suit. I ordered the Extra Large so it would fit over warm layers, such as sweaters or a fleece top. The fit is perfect. The stitching is top-notch, and all seams are taped on the inside to help keep water out. The green color is one I haven't seen before, very distinctive. Even if you don't like green this would fit into your color scheme. When it's on and zipped up, it has a vague Star Trek quality to it, which adds to it's character. There is one zipped pocket down low on the right side front. It's a good addition to one's wardrobe to have a garment with a minimalist feel to it - not too many flaps, pockets, zippers and stuff.

  9. Simple, effective, I just bought another one
This takes up very little space in your bike gear (or your 'crap happens' bag) and it's very effective at what it does.

The neck fits snugly to seal drafts out, and it adds warmth when needed.

If I had nits to pick, a few small reflective patches might be welcome. This isn't substantial enough to wear as outerwear on a bike, but I was wearing it as outerwear at a driver skills day (jumping in and out of cars in the rain), and I felt like a Ninja in all black.
