Waterproof Wool Insulated Winter Gloves - Canteens & Coolers - Cooking & Eating - Camping

There aren't many gloves that have real wool insulation and a real Gore-tex liner. Too often I find the fingers on gloves are long but not on these. They also have a nice long gauntlet. The wool/Gore-tex liner is held in place with Velcro. The gloves are not meant to be worn without the liner. The fact that it's removable is to aid in cleaning & drying.

These gloves are not specifically designed for motorcycling. Because of that they have some features which aren't very useful (loop on finger for hanging on a hook). They also lack some features which would be beneficial (strap to secure gauntlet, reflective striping). Additionally the padding over the knuckles doesn't reach the index finger. The gloves took a while to break in. They were quite tight and stiff when new. I wrapped rubber bands around the finger and left them overnight. That helped a lot. Overall I'm quite happy with the gloves. I haven't tested the waterproof capability so cannot comment on that. A few more tweaks would make these a 5-star choice but I'll have to give them 4.
