Good Stuff,

Review by Joe on 7/16/11

Just got home from a 6 day road trip, sore and tired. Tossed this into the DVD player to help decompress. Watching the first 4 episodes made me ready to hop back on. Thought provoking and at times beautifully poetic. Not so much for kids as it it a bit deep. Find it hard to explain your travel compulsion to others? This vid may help.

Winter Fun

Review by Casey on 5/30/10

This is fun - I've watched all the episodes and even got my wife to watch several of them. I'm looking forward to watching them again in several years when my daughter is old enough to appreciate them. With the possible exception of a few spots in a couple of episodes that may require kids be at least 8-10, I consider them 'child-safe' down to any age, there is action, but no glorification of violence, no bad language, and no sex/nudity. Different (to me) and fun.

Good to watch

Review by Marty on 10/16/09

Now first off, let me say I'm surprised there's an anime series on this site for sale.

Anyway this story is about Kino, a motorcyclist who travels with her talking motorcycle (don't think it has a face, it's basically a motorcycle with a voice over. Nothing stupid) and travels to various 'countries' to see their ways and cultures. Most of the series you won't see Kino reference any of the past episodes, but there's a few that at least hint to what has happened to her in the past episodes.

This may not be for everyone, but I enjoyed and have watched it three times through so far.
