It woks well but proved more difficult to mount than I expected.
Although my KTM 690 Duke has a tapered bar, there is just enough room ahead of the left grip to mount the Helmet Secure.
The Duke (2013) is optimized for riding and mounting to frame tubes wasn't possible either because they were oval or of a size outside the range of adjustment.
I bought the Helmet Secure in black but had to paint the chromed top of the lock cylinder black to keep the Arizona sun from reflecting into my eyes.
I preferred the license plate holder (no longer available) that held the back of the helmet because it securely kept the helmet from collecting rain water. With the Helmet Secure a passerby could move the helmet so as to collect rain.
It must be remembered: "Locks keep honest people honest." (Posted on 6/12/13)
I bought this product hoping it would fit along the lower frame on my Kawasaki Concours 2011 and it fit perfectly, the cable was long enough to go around the chin guard on my Nolan helmet as it does not have any D rings on the quick connect chin strap. Very happy with product! (Posted on 6/26/12)
