Great but paint fades.I love the "This is my car" holder, as someone who doesn't own an automobile. However, the print wears after a while. Not a huge issue since they're cheap to replace every few years.

I agree with JoeBacker plate needs new holes for a California plate. Easy fix, BUT, modifying an inexpensive piece of plastic that reminds me of the old saying "one size fits most". Or in this case a select few.

Ride Everyday !!Got this to rub it in to the Harley people. Any chance of weather and you never see them.LOL. Some minor fitment issues with the plate bolt holes matching up, but its plastic and a little razor knife work and its on . Love it

Cool, but...So these are cool, especially on small bikes where everyone's always asking about fuel mileage. But I'm not sure what they're supposed to fit--the slots appear to be cut for an 8x5" plate as used in Maryland and parts of Canada. For those of us in the 49 states that use 7.5x4.5 plates, you have to poke new holes in it. It's pretty soft plastic, though, so it takes <5 minutes to fix and still looks great. It definitely doesn't fit a MN (or WI) plate, which you think someone would've noticed.

As described but...This is not a frame, which I thought it was, but it is a tough looking layer which is mounted underneath the license plate. As the description says "holder" I should have realized that it is not a frame.
I purchased it as a gift for hubby, who is always being asked how good is the gas mileage of his maxi-scoot, but it is still in the shrink wrap, so it wasn't the winner I thought it would be.Posted on

Its just a farkle...Hey its only a simple license plate backing frame but says so much about the rider. I have folks ask me all the time :Do you even own a car? I never see you drive a car." Now they know. THIS IS MY CAR.

Bragging RightsI love the "one less car" license plate frames so much, I bought two 50MPG ones for my two son's identical EX500s. It's great to split lanes in bumper to bumper traffic and the last thing EVERY driver see's as we pass are: 1) Our taillights, and 2) We're getting OUTSTANDING gas mileage on a few gallons of now VERY expensive gas. I hope we make a few 2-wheel converts along the way.

50 MPG PlateI've been getting comments on this ever since I installed it. It's printed on a heavy plastic-like material that looks like it will be pretty durable. Unfortunately, the pre-drilled holes are just a tad off for California motorcycle license plates. It installed just fine after only minor modification.

What about 70+?I think these plates are a great idea to emphasize to car-goers that two-wheeling is a legitimate way to cut emissions. However, my Sym HD200 consistently achieves over 80 mpg, and there are other scooters that achieve even higher numbers. It would be great to have those plates available as well, because it might make an SUV driver think twice before disrespecting!
I'll be getting the 70 mpg frame for now, but hope to see some higher numbers available in the future.Posted on
