Couldn't Leave Home With ThemReview by R Hugh Kiddin
I bought this fine item from Aerostich and it pretty much ended my riding career. I won't ride in anything but my Aerostich Roadcrafter. I installed the strips but, like most guys, didn't bother to read the detailed instructions. Everything went well, with my right knee. The hooks to the right, on my knee. The loops to the left, on my tank. But I assumed I should do the same thing on my left knee. So I kept the hooks on the right side, like my right knee. I put the loops on the left side, like my tank. I admired my handiwork, but I found I'd missed an important detail, When I jumped into my Roadcrafter (in 11.37 seconds), my knees bumped together. The hooks on my right knee grabbed the loops on my left knee, firmly locking my knees together. Walking was a challenge but trying to get on my bike broke my heart. My knees wouldn't part so I couldn't fork the saddle. Well, I took the Roadcrafter off in 7.8 seconds (lost 3 seconds to the knees being locked together). I could fork the saddle, but not with my Roadcrafter on. I| will only ride wearing my Roadcrafter. My Roadcrafter's knees are locked together. I can't wear the suit while I ride. My riding days are over. (Posted on 6/19/17)
Many usesReview by Kinky Hoffmeister
I've found another use for these - my wife sewed them to my son's Sunday trousers and now he stays put throughout the service! (Posted on 11/26/13)
