I'd worn out the shift pad at the top of my favorite Alpinestars. Tuff Toe was my last hope. The stuff was easy to apply, made a waterproof and exceptionally durable pad, and saved my boots from the trash. Two very minor negatives: I found Tuff Toe to be a one shot deal. That is, fix everything you need to because it doesn't store well. Second, they're right about it only flexing "slightly". Its lack of flexibility is noticable when walking. No matter. Its value far outweighs these trifles.
