High Tech Ultralight Cot
- Product Review (submitted on August 28, 2012):
I've used mine for a few years with success. If your pad is slippery (like the Thermarest inflatable), use a little self-adhesive velcro to attach your sleeping pad to the tent floor above the cot, so the pad won't slip out from under you.
Big problem, though. Last night, I woke up sore and realizing that I'd been laying on the cross pegs. At some point during the night, the thing just collapsed. The feet hooks bent, and some of the pegs did too. I only weigh 200 lbs. I set it up correctly because I've showed people how to do it many times, and I've watched the video online with a friend, confirming my assembly is correct. Weirdest thing, but now it's ruined. It won't ever stand straight. I'm having trouble reaching UltraLite (not answering their phone), and I haven't checked to see if Aerostitch will honor the lifetime warranty.
