Aerostich Vegan Gloves

I have been using these gloves almost daily for the past 3 or 4 months and found them to be comfortable and warm down to about 45 degrees. I unfortunately laid my bike down on a patch of ice recently and got to truly test the protective performance of the gloves. My right hand hit the pavement pretty hard, resulting in an avulsion fracture/severe sprain of my wrist. My hand was pretty well protected. The glove however, blew out the seam between the thumb and palm. Luckily I was not in a situation where I was sliding on my hands. I'm not sure that my skin would have fared so well if that were the case.
