Aerostich Tank Panniers

I bought these panniers last fall. I ride an '09 F650GS. I used these bags on a 7000 mile cross country trip over the summer. All of my rain gear, a water bottle in the right side, my wool pants, extra warm layers, and a water bottle in the left. These are very durable, and easy to put on. I attached some zip ties to the frame of my bike to attach the elastic straps. My tankbag fits over the top, and keeps the bags from moving. The outside pockets were very useful for keeping a pencil, loose forgotten tent stakes, and a crushed can for kickstand support :)
I wish they were waterproof, but nothing a lightweight drybag or trash bag couldn't fix. The Hi-Viz yellow also made my advancing motorcycle very easy to see! (a 6 pack of, um root beer, fits perfectly in eack pannier:)
