just what i was looking forReview by FloydNY
with the protekt jeans on back order decided to try out the Khakis. Out of the package comfortable.... test ride during the July 4th heat wave, they were perfect. (Posted on 7/4/18)
sizing issuesReview by J.
received the pant 34x34 & the rear pockets are to short for a wallet or pocket comb. 20.00 at a tailor to fix.
2nd thing - color. They are at best Khaki. I would say closer to white. What is needed here is Moss color like Dockers. Not black, green which is accepted at the work place more (Posted on 5/25/17)
worng labling & fitReview by J.
I have had them around & recently started to wear them. The pant says 36w 32L. It's not! I did not measure them when they came, just went by the compy's word & marking. I ordered 36w when I wear a 34w( I was told they would shrink). I have no idea if a 36w would of fit, because what it was sent was way bigger - a 38w after washing. I kept waiting for them to shrink like I was told they would, but they never did so I measured them. That is how I found out they were 38w marked 36w. Now I am having trouble getting credit for a proper size. BEWARE OF SIZING. (Posted on 4/6/17)

When standing, most wearers find the top of the knee armor's 'cup' locates about at the center of the kneecap, and when sitting this cup moves upward about 1-2" and becomes centered on the knee. (Posted on 11/29/16)
New pants for work.Review by Garland
I loved the light color khaki so much, I bought a pair of dark (dark green) within a week of getting the light (light brown) pair. The light pair are much softer to the touch than the dark, with the dark feeling more like cotton duck. As has been stated, the pockets are a little small. They are also warm pants and probably not great for July, August and September here in Kentucky or anywhere farther south. Otherwise, excellent pants and my favorite to wear to work. Great Pants PLease Make Them in Black!Review by Alien
Have been riding and using these pants for a couple of years now and they get more comfortable the more they wear in.
My only request would be would it be possible to make a blacked out version - black fabric, zips, threading and logo to make them even more "work friendly" please? I will buy some straight away!
I dyed my pair, which works, but you end up with charcoal pants with contrast stitching, zips and logo that way. Thanks Aerostich! (Posted on 10/25/16)
Awesome slacks to ride to work inReview by Casey
These pants are perfect for riding to work. The zip in / zip out knee armor makes it a cinch, and they actually look nice too. I ordered the same size as I wear in regular pants, and the fit is perfect. The cotton layer on the inside is nice and soft, and they are really comfortable to wear after a couple washings. The only downside is that they are a wee bit baggy on a skinny guy like me (5'10", 155 lbs), but the protection and convenience make me forget about that pretty easily. I have a light and a dark pair, and the light pair does get dirty pretty quickly. This is especially noticeable when the bugs are out, so I favor the dark green ones more. I wish there were more dark options, like a dark brown or dark blue. (Posted on 10/18/16)
good product at a fair priceReview by johnbut not forgotten
very comfortable well made pants at a fair price. lacking some of the features of other motorcycle pants (extra pockets for phone etc., stretch material...) but much easier to change the knee armour when off the bike. would like more colour choice, a slight stretch to the material. More like shin guardsReview by Jonathan
The quality of the pants is good, but if you are looking for a pair of pants with removable knee pads, these are not what your looking for. The way the pockets for the inserts are sewn any knee pad insert will cover your shins and not your knees. Very disappointed and will be returning them. If you don't care about knee pads then they are good quality khakis. (Posted on 9/28/16)
Too light, very dirtyReview by Stu
The good: They fit and look like Khakis.

The bad: Whoever selected this color must not actually ride! My pants get dirty, very dirty every time I ride. A darker color / denim would be a much better choice. The pockets are uselessly small.

Pass on these, get the denim ones. (Posted on 9/2/15)

Aerostich Protekt Riding Khakis

Your Favorite New Pants.

I've always wanted a pair of pants like these to wear into work on warm days under nothing but a button-down shirt and Darien Light jacket. Something that looked exactly like the khaki 'Dockers®' street pants I usually wear under a Roadcrafter. Comfortable pants (especially on hotter days) that would provide semi-decent abrasion protection in case of a crash. Pants with big protective knee pads that would go in and out very fast...while sitting right at my desk. A pair of pants that were all-day comfortable at work worn with a shirt and sometimes even a tie. Maybe a sport coat, too. Occasionally.

So we modified several pairs of actual ‘Levi's Dockers®,’ making small adjustments and changes to each pair. Eventually, voila — we had some very plain-looking khaki pants that were comfortable all day at work, and for riding, and were not jeans.

Getting all of this correct took us about a year, squeezed between other work and projects. Then finding someone in the USA with this type of pant-making experience — someone to produce a nicely sewn final version — took another year. But finally it all came together.

I'd wanted a pair of pants exactly like this for more than ten years. Everyday wearing pants that were comfortable commuting, reasonably protective, and that looked ok at work.

These are those pants.
