Wet it, wear it, wipe it,
wring it, wash it, re-use it. This Aerostich Evap-O-Danna is made
from a new technical combination of soft synthetic fabrics to soak up
and hold more water than ordinary cloths. It is more comfortable to
wear compared to gel/crystal filled fabric tube ties made for neck
cooling, and more useful too. The Evap-O-Danna's soft material is
similar to the stuff used in many ‘super cloth' infomercial
products and also for superabsorbent specialized 'camping towels'
...so it makes a great washcloth or drying towel, too. It's black
color permits quick drying in the sun, absorbs heat on cooler days
and camouflages stains between washes. |

In hot weather, wet the
Evap-O-Danna and wrap it around your neck for a cool solution to
blistering summer rides. The more saturated your Evap-O-Danna is, the
longer it will provide cooling,... and this miracle fabric can hold
up to nine times it weight in water. Cooling effects last between 30
minutes and several hours, depending on your bike's wind protection
(fairing), your wind speed and the ambient temperature and humidity.
For cold weather, use it dry, fastening around neck as a bandanna. An
Evap-O-Danna can be tucked inside your jacket to be ready for all
conditions from hot/dry to cold/wet. It also makes a great general
purpose rag for drying off a wet saddle, wiping up a spill, and
cleaning a faceshield or windshield. May be used as an impromptu
loincloth by the extremely skinny. |
