The outer shell is a fully seam-taped, breathable/waterproof ripstop nylon; so even on all-day rides, your hands will never get clammy. The lightweight design lets them pack small when not needed, too. Draft-eliminating wrist cinches are ergonomically reversed for easy adjustment, oversize gauntlets have a one-handed elastic draw cord with a tethered cordlock, and there's a wedge of Scotchlite reflective across the outside for nighttime viz. The luxuriously warm 100% merino wool lining is what separates this glove from others. Nothing is as warm as wool - it wears warmer than the various fleeces and fibers used in other insulated riding gloves. It's also more durable than synthetic insulations, so it won't pill, mat or wear through after a few thousand miles. Other features include an elkskin palm for durability and deerskin in other areas for lightweight comfort. A TF2 foam knuckle impact pad adds impact protection and the left thumb is equipped with a useful visor squeegee. An adjustable, gusseted gauntlet covers and seals sleeve cuffs, and the wrist is secured with both an elasticized area and a reversed hook-and-loop strap - which pulls towards your body for better convenience. Hidden between the deerskin and the wool lining is a thin windblocking fabric that covers the entire backside of the hand, providing extra warmth. Aerostich Technical Fleece Jackets
More than common 'outdoor' fleece jackets, these are designed for adding warmth and comfort when riding. This breathable, high-warmth, low-bulk jacket will become a favorite the first time you wear it. The collar is contoured for comfort with a helmet strap and the sleeves are trimmed down and forward rotated for less bulk under your outer gear. Lengthened underarm ventilation zippers provide increased ventilation, and durable Lycra binding at the hem and sleeve ends stops drafts without absorbing water. The torso is slightly shorter in front and longer in back for a better fit, and the sleeves are usefully longer, too. Zippered inside and outside chest pockets secure valuables like cell phones and wallets, and zippered side pockets are placed slightly forward for easier access.
