Airvantage Liner
Based on the pioneering Aerostich Airvantage® Vest, the new Airvantage® Liner keeps you even toastier warm by incorporating electrics that run all the way through non-detachable sleeves. One of the challenges to the efficiency of electrically heated clothing is the problem of conducting the heat to the rider. Traditionally, this has meant a closely-tailored (and often uncomfortably restrictive) garment for maximum heat transfer. By blowing more or less air into the internal bladder, the overall closeness and consequent warming efficiency of the garment can be adjusted. Also, because air is an effective insulator, the warmth of the liner is greatly increased – air alone extends the temperature range that doesn’t require using power for heat. Competition Back Pad
This new full-length back protector provides higher levels of protection for kidneys, spine, upper back, and coccyx areas. It fits all Aerostich suits and jackets using integrated hook & loop mounts, or it can be worn in another garment with the included detachable belt. Made to withstand multiple hard impacts while being very lightweight and comfortable, the Competition’s impact protection system is similar to the Standard Aerostich Back Pad, but it’s slightly stiffer and covers a much larger area. It’s ideal for track days, high speed backroad twisties, and other fun hooligan-type riding applications. (You know who you are…). Made of TF3 impact foam, polyester, and Cordura. Specify size. Fleece Jackets
New high-warmth, low-bulk jackets that will become favorites the first time you put them on. More than common ‘outdoor’ fleece jackets, these are fitted specially for riding. The collar is cut for more comfort with a helmet strap and the slightly longer sleeves are trimmed down and forward rotated for less bulk under riding gear. Durable Lycra binding at the hem and sleeves stop drafts without absorbing water, and the torso is shorter in front and longer in back for a better fit. Zippered inside and outside chest pockets secure valuables like cell phones and wallets, and zippered side pockets are placed slightly forward for easier access. A quick-draw inner chest pocket is ideal for sunglasses or a bandanna. The Wind Blocker version uses a warm, soft two-sided fleece that features a thinner micro velour face with a moisture wicking mesh back. It’s thinner than the Soft Shell version, but it blocks 98% of the wind, and offers 2X faster moisture wicking than other windproof fleece fabrics.
