Germany 2010: "ULTRA MOTORHEAD/GEARHEAD/FANATIC TOUR" - INTERMOT, VETERAMA, MUSEUMS, RIDING, DREAMING

TOUR DATES: October 1 - October 10, 2010

2010 Germany TourAerostich Tours has announced October 1 - 10, 2010, as the dates for their 2010 "Ultra Motorcycle Motorhead/Gearhead/Fanatic Tour."

Motorcycle mania for nine days best depicts the latest and wildest tour offering from Aerostich Tours. Participants will eat, sleep, breathe, smell, touch, ride, dream about and fondle motorcycles for nearly 24 hours each day.

Elements comprising this one-time offering include piloting motorcycles over the famed German autobahns, exploring the secret roads of the Black Forest and tasting historical racing on a former race course closed to motorcycles on the weekends. When not riding the selected group will tour several public and private motorcycle museums, sleep in a motorcycle bed and breakfast hotel, eat at a German “biker BBQ,” and have free time to shop in motorcycle shops.

The centerpieces for the motorheads and gearheads are attending the world’s largest motorcycle trade show, the bi-annual INTERMOT, and the world’s largest motorcycle flea market, VETERAMA.

According to an Aerostich Tours spokesperson, "This tour has been designed for the motorcycle fanatics, the owners and dreamers who exist at the far end of the motorcyclist spectrum. Not only will they be immersed in the world of motorcycling, old, new and futuristic, but they will be with others who share their passion, aficionados who live to be on, around and dreaming about two and three wheel motorized cycles, believing motorcycles are exotic and their personal lust is not psychotic."

Germany, best known for the beer and BMWs, is the birthplace of the motorcycle. In 1885 Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach built the first motorcycle, a replica of which will be seen on the tour. At the other end of motorcycling will be the newest, fastest, biggest, and most powerful motorcycles in the world on display at INTERMOT. The tour will be led by a German/English speaking professional motorcycle guide who has been leading tours for over 15 years throughout the world.

A unique wrinkle only the Aerostich Tour Company could think of, the motorcycle fanatics are being invited to consider renting a car to make part of the tour. According to an Aerostich insider, "It will be October in Germany. While some of us thrive of riding in hostile environments, our wives or husbands may prefer watching the castles and possible snow covered trees go by through a windshield wiped clean by a rubber blade. A car is good for carrying souvenirs too."

Starting at $3025 per rider.
