Radical new Aerostitch Clothing for Radical Motorcycles.

Embracing the new radicalism of everyday practicality, the Aerostitch UltraDarien Suit will feature carbon fiber conchos and kevlar fringes. These judiciously applied styling elements transform the appearance of the well known Darien jacket and better position it for purchase by upscale consumers.

The new UltraDarien was designed specifically to meet the demanding requirements of a newly emerging group of Honda Valkyrie Rune owners. Honda’s Takeo ‘Ray’ Kiyoshi welcomed its development, commenting: “This will finally give our Rune owners an appropriate gear option. It turns out that many Valkyrie Rune riders want to be able to take them up the Alcan and across Central America. Frankly, riding a Valk to Costa Rica was unanticipated by Honda’s research teams. We are glad Aerostitch saw this niche developing and has taken the initiative.” The UltraDarien is also expected to be favored by Valkyrie owners who use the spectacular machines for transportation and commuting.

To further encourage Valkyrie Rune owners to order an UltraDarien, a portion of the profit from each garment has been earmarked to support a newly created MIC (Motorcycle Industry Council) program initiative for furthering transportation riding. The MIC board has already established a blue ribbon executive committee to oversee this program. They are currently in the process of hiring an UltraDarien program director, an administrative team and a support staff. Available revenue yielded annually from this innovative funding mechanism is expected to be in the hundreds of dollars.

The UltraDarien jacket is also expected to increase the visibility of continuing Aerostitch Darien models. “Offering a high zoot version like this will enhance and intensify the positive feelings of pride that all Darien suit owners already have about their Aerostitch gear. We are so proud of this,” said Aerostitch’s UltraDarien designer, Puffy Glydon Arlen II.

Available colors for the new UltraDarien will match Honda’s Valkyire colors, but many additional custom design features are expected to be provided by magazine editors and journalists. These writers are (herein...) being asked to share their imagination and ideas to help make the new UltraDarien completely irresistible to its target market. (Editors and journalists, please send your design and marketing ideas to [email protected], marked ‘attention Puffy’.)

Distribution will be direct, following Aerostitch’s established model, but with a unique twist that seems perfectly appropriate for this special edition garment: Aerostitch clad members of the Ironbutt© Association while training themselves for the famous endurance riding event, will pick up individual orders at the Aerostitch world headquarters and then carry them at higher than average speeds directly to each lucky purchaser, stopping only occasionally for gas, fresh tires, Pepsi and black bean burritos.

Summary Points:

  • ‘Ultra’ in name sounds cool.
  • Plenty of techno bling-bling.
  • Purchasers meet actual Ironbutt© entrant.
  • Insect deflecting carbon fiber conchos.
  • Viagra enhancing kevlar fringes on sleeves.
  • Happy April Fools Day.
