Product Description

Details

Stealth model is all black and includes the two layer abrasion areas but replaces all reflective areas with black matching fabric. A working rider's suit.

Black. Machine washable. Sizes: Men's 34 regular and 36–54 short, regular or long. Women's 2-20 short, regular or long. Made in USA

By itself, the fully lined jacket worn alone is wonderful. Armored, lightweight, underarm and back-vented, nine pockets, cool-wearing, rotated sleeves, action back gussets, adjustable waist tabs and much more. Zipped together with the matching pants it's as fast and convenient to use as a one piece suit.

The jacket overlaps pants by about six inches. It is attached to the pants with a securely sewn 270º circumferential two way zipper that can stand up to stress and hard use. You can start the zipper sliders and connect the jacket and pant while wearing both.

Separately, the pants have a waist drawstring with cord locks, and there are two additional pockets sewn into its lining accessible behind the flaps covering the side zippers. All the features of the one piece design are included in the two piece, making this our most versatile riders suit.

The Roadcrafter Classic jacket is tailored to minimize wind flutter and drag at higher speeds yet it also is lightweight and compact enough to pack away small, or carry into an office.

Years of experience have proven the Roadcrafter Classic's abrasion protection and all-weather capability. Like all Roadcrafter's this suit is covered with innovations: high-visibility Scotchlite™ reflective, all those strategically placed pockets, provisions for removable arm and thigh map window pockets, optional hip and back impact armor, highly water resistant underarm and back vents, an ultrasuede collar, and a variety of adjustable tabs and zippers to fine-tune the fit.

The Roadcrafter Classic Two-Piece is all about attention to detail, real-world riding and meticulous craftsmanship. Mil-spec 500 Denier Cordura® GORE-TEX® fabric. Five colors: black, grey, red, hi-viz lime yellow, tan or cobalt blue. Six abrasion area colors: black, grey, red, hi-viz lime yellow, tan, cobalt blue, or silver. Machine washable. Men's 34, 36–54 short, regular or long. Women's 2-20 short, regular or long. Made in USA

Roadcrafter = do it all excellenceReview by Josh
I bought my Roadcrafter with reflective delete (now called the stealth) back in about 2000. 17 years later and about 75,000 miles worth of use for both dual sport and road use it looks even better with the dirt and wear that has accumulated in that time.
It has experienced a couple low speed accidents (under 40mph) with no tears or damage. It has kept me dry and warm (with proper layering) for many thousands of miles of the worst weather that Mother Nature can throw at me in the mountains of Colorado and beyond. To give you an idea of the extremes this jacket is used in; I live at 9,000 feet in Crested Butte, Colorado but travel predominantly in the southwestern states, so it sees desert temps as well. It has decent ventilation at highway speeds but it does get a little warm at lower speeds in higher temps. But who cares if I'm a little warm at times knowing that I have a comfortable, highly protective jacket and don't have to worry about carrying rain gear. Just ride through those storms and laugh at the guys running for cover when the rain really starts hammering down!
As an added bonus: the pockets have tons of space. For reference: most of my travels involve camping. By the time my bike is loaded up I don't have much room for "extras". But I do enjoy a beer or 2 by the campfire after a long day on the road or trail. Well, the Roadcrafter will easily swallow a six-pack of cans distributed throughout its various pockets. I know this isn't everyone's thing, but it does give a good example of how much storage the jacket has.
I love my Roadcrafter and think it is pretty stylish to boot! I have been through many different helmets, boots, gloves, and soft luggage configurations, but my Roadcrafter has stood the test of time. It could probably use a new main zipper (which will be addressed this winter) but it still works and this is the only real problem I have had with this garment in 75,000 miles of use. Did I mention that I love this Jacket? Best money I have spent in almost 30 years of riding motorcycles!
Just for reference; I've spent the majority of my riding years going fast and traveling on a few modified Harley Sportsters and Buells. Cafe racer has been my idea of a good time - light and fast with just enough comfort to do 300-500 mile days and carry just enough to camp at the end of the day. There has been a K-bike Bimmer in the mix and now my only bike is a KTM 525 XC.
This has been a long winded review that took some time to write, but I feel that Aerostitch deserves that time. This is a great product that will serve me for at least another decade of riding! Everything you buy has compromises, and nothing can do everything perfectly. But this product has stood the test of time and I'm so glad I spent the money almost 20 years ago. Thanks Andy for designing a highly functional product that I still feel good about putting on so many years later. (Posted on 8/12/18)
