Roadcrafter Classic One Piece Suit
- Product Review (submitted on May 15, 2008):
Just had my maiden voyage of 1500 miles in my new roadcrafter that I bought out of existing stock online. I rode from northeastern Pennsylvania to Tennesee on the Blue Ridge Parkway and back again. The first day it rained the entire day. The last day it rained all the way home. The suit stayed bone dry and warm. Most mornings were 40F and by mid afternoon around 80F. It is true that if you open up the zips and sleeve cuffs , the breeze keeps everything quite cool. I was asked by several people if it was too hot in the suit. Honestly, it was perfect! I was surprised. I really like all the pockets and visibility and most of all the protection. One guy said that I looked like a walking advertisement for BMW. OH well, I have been called worse. Anyway, I am heading north to Americade on Sunday and it will be hot and wet as usual. The knowlege that the suit is additonal protection will bring addtional peace of mind to this sport touring adventure rider.
It was alot of money for me to spend, but the quality of this suit and the protection it provides speaks for the "investment" of a lifetime. Thanks for making a really awesome product.
