Garbage!I've only had my one piece suit for 20+ years, and now the slider broke. Unacceptable! Sure, they had the part in stock and shipped it immediately, and repairing it was easy and the suit is like new, but now my total cost of maintenance is $8.00. That's 40 cents per year more than I planned on. I suppose I should expect to need another slider in 20 years. They even included a full set of sliders because they know they're no good after 20+ years. Planned obsolescence!

Well DoneWhen my zipper slider broke, I was bummed as it was high season for motorcycling in California. I figured I was going to be out for a couple of weeks trying to find parts, getting the zipper installed by someone, and any eventual complications. When I found these online I was excited as the instructions seemed to be simple. When they arrived, installation couldn’t have been easier. I’m impressed how well the Aerostich is designed from a functionality and serviceability standpoint. 10 years and 100,000 miles on the suit – it’s still going strong!

Zipper Slider Replacement KitGood value and easy to install. My right leg zipper failed (RC Classic) and the kit (thanks to the included instructions) made it an easy fix. Will carry the other ones with me for backups. One complaint, the stops are rather small compared the the original ones.

Easy PeasyFollowed instructions, simple task - well, once we had figured out we needed to hold the zip lock on the slider clear anyway :) 10 Minutes - all done.

Zipper HappyThese things rock! They go up, they go down! Amazing! No really now, they worked just fine. My old zipper pull was just plum worn out and these where easy to replace and made my old suit zippers like new and hassle free. Thanks for the prompt shipping!

RC Main ZipperOrdered this kit to renew the #10 main sliders on a vintage RC one-piece. After a short struggle getting the new upper slider engaged, the rest was easy. Finished by crimping on a new stop. Previously the zipper was hard to engage and release (I actually got stuck in my suit once). Now it works like new. Even though it is not very water resistant with newer pads and zipper sliders the suit is now good for another 25 years!

Zip your ...........!I've had my suit since 1992. I've replaced the main zip pull 2 times in the 80,000mi I've ridden. It always feels like new when replaced. I've found when it gets sticky and hard to pull it needs replacing, otherwise the pull falls apart and you are SOL. Carry extra pulls with you in the sleeve!

Easy FixZipper works as well as before. The hardest and most time consuming part was removing the old stop, it was not as easily accomplished as the instructions implied.

Fixed...Replaced my main zipper pull on my onsey RC. Good as new. Takes a bit of effort to get the new slider positioned properly due to the sipper material. Other than than...works like a charm. New slider works better than the original...probably because its new and not worn.... :)

Good as newReplaced the sliders after a pull tab broke off after a decade of heavy use. Easy enough. The new zipper sliders combined with a washed and DWR wash in coating (Nikwaxed TX) and they slide sooo smoothly. Nice.
One note: I wasn't quite clear where to use the smaller zipper pictured in bottom center. The zipper is the same size, but the handle is smaller ... I stuck in on the R leg.Posted on
