not for skinny waistsThe "buckle" mechanism requires tension to be maintained to keep it cinched. If you are thin and do not have sufficient outward pressure from your gut against the belt, the buckle gradually loosens, requiring frequent re-chinching to keep it tight. If a short elastic section were added to the belt (similar to a Rok Strap), the belt would stay cinched due to this built-in tension.

Belt IssuesThis is my 2nd belt .. the first one lasted several years before the buckle shredded the edge of the belt material. I've had the newest version only a couple months and notice the belt will not stay snugged ... it annoyingly keeps loosening. IMO, Aerostich should contact the vendor and have them improve the buckle.

Great while it lastedThis belt has been worn daily since I received it in March of 2015. Late last year I started noticing it would loosen after snugging up the belt. I thought the belt was getting a smooth area but the more I looked it appears the buckle wearing. There are two 1/4-3/8" worn areas on the face of the buckle wear the cross piece sits while holding the belt. It would be nice if the belt was replaceable, ,or was originally made of a more durable stainless steel. Well, it was a Great belt for almost three years.

A very good beltI bought this not knowing how well I could put it on my riding pants. No problem the pocket came with velcro to put on my pants. I ride a Vespa scooter and not having a gas tank to put a tank bag with map sleeve has always been missed. Now all I have to do is look down at my leg and there is the map. I have heard some say the pocket can blow off your leg, Then again the scooter protects your legs from all that blow by wind. I like how you can just flip it over and see more map on the other side and keep on riding. Yes, my Vespa is a touring machine.

Totally Serious Belt is Totally Rad!!This belt rocks!
It looks great, feels snug, and hell, it's strong enough to double as a survival sling or tow strap if need be.Posted on

Alternative BeltI am impressed with the belt. It is nice and wide and fits well in jeans and other pants. It works very well with my heavy, camo hunting over-pants. People ask about it- unique.

Great belt!Man I love this belt! I got the Large and it has ample room to grow (which, being a 38-40, I don't really want, but being a glutton, I do expect!). Comfortable, stable, doesn't slip a bit. You should get this belt!

Great Made In USA BeltI buy 38" width pants and the size Large fits great. I like the looks and the buckle is easy to use and has not slipped on me...not once. Great Made In The USA quality and I like the US Flag label sewn inside the belt too.
