requuires wet fingertipsThe size was fine. The leather material is comfortable. However, while I thought the touch-screen stitching feature was very clever, it did not work for me at all. Aside from very clunky fingertips while trying to turn the phone on, the fine print in the note included with the gloves says the stitching works best when slightly wet, requiring one to lick ones fingertips each time one uses the phone, unless it is raining. Alternatively, it suggests coating the fingertips with brake fluid, which it says will not harm the phone's screen. I really don't want to take the chance that brake fluid on my new gloves won't remove the paint on my gas tank or panniers. I returned the gloves unused.

Elkskin RopersThese were the gloves I have been searching for and didn't know it. I broke them in during a week of riding my R1200GS on the wonderful roads of North Carolina during a week of vacation. The gloves were comfortable, easy to put on and take off and began to take on the shape and curve of my fingers. When I returned I waterproofed them with NikWax. They remained flexible and soft but I've not had a chance (happily) to test the effectiveness of the NikWax Glove Proof. Highly recommend these to any adventure rider.

Gloves that touchGloves feel great and seem to be breaking in well. They work on my touch screen device without fail. Went with the natural color. First riding gloves I've ever purchased that were not black, and I like the change.

Almost...I ordered two pairs of these, one for myself and one for my husband, since we use touchscreen devices often during our rides and these gloves seemed like the perfect solution to glove on/glove off/stop/start.
The quality of the leather is great - strong yet soft. The fit is another matter. I ordered the smallest size, which according to the sizing chart, should have fit. It did, except for the fingertips, where the electrostatic threads are, were about 1/4 inch too long. (I have an average, well-proportioned hand.) I was very disappointed. Aerostitch carries such great stuff. I'd really love to see some quality functional motorcycle apparel products sized and scaled for women (hint: it's a huge, untapped market!) And no, I don't need it in pink!
To be fair, the pair I ordered for my husband also ran large (I ordered based on his usual glove size and the sizing charts.) They went back in exchange for another pair a half size smaller. Unfortunately, they were also too big (bulky across the palm). I was told a number of other customers also found these gloves ran large.
If/when the sizing issue is addressed, and if/when they're scaled appropriately for a woman's hand, I'd buy several pairs of these in a heartbeat. (And so would all my femaie riding friends.)

Great ideaGreat gloves. Great Idea. Just finished a trip to Nova Scotia and these gloves were indespensable while using an IPhone on the bike. You wouldn't want to type an e-mail with thrm on but they work well enough to be able to type passwords, zoom, etc. They initially fit a little big but after a heavy thunder storm and being dried on a motel heater, they fit perfectly.

Excellent Summer GloveThese gloves are great for the summer. They wick moisture and cool, and their light color absorbs less of the suns heat and rays. I've used them in three Iron Butt rallies and they've never let me done.
