  1. Gauntlet Gloves
I purchased the Insulated Gauntlet Gloves. Very happy with them. High quality, well made, very soft and pliable. It hasn't been real cold of late, but so far they seem to be beautiful gloves and I think they will keep my hands plenty warm in the cold. The size chart said I needed the smaller of the size 10, but having read what others have written about getting them bigger, I got the size 11 extra large. Was a good choice as they fit fine and think the size 10 would have been to small. I recommend these glove. You will not be disappointed.

  2. Great gloves
I've had the Roper gloves for months now, & they're the best gloves I've ever owned.

These winter gloves arrived just after I'd left for a cold, wet 3 day ride in the mountains, whereupon they were sorely missed.

Haven't really been for a decent ride since, so haven't had a chance to break them in yet, but they seem to be the same good quality as my Ropers.

Note: If you've already gotten the usual Roper gloves (and you really should), remember that these winter versions should probably be ordered a size larger. I ordered the same size & they're very tight (all those extra layers). I reckon they'll stretch ok, but a size up would've been perfect from the start.

  3. Just Right
Live in California...Ideal for night riding (low to mid 40's). I am a 5'7" ordered gloves 1 size over, as many colleges subjected. That worked out very nicely. I was wearing leather jacked and thick hoody. Gauntlet covered me fine but if I was wearing cold weather gear the gauntlet may be a bit small. Quality craftsmanship. Turned around and purchased the "roper" glove for spring.

  4. My Favorite Winter Glove
These gloves are pretty near perfect: warm enough to keep me riding w/o heated grips into the 40s (I do have handguards) and not so bulky that you can't feel. I'd recommend them to anyone.

  5. Crashworthy
I had a get off the other day. I wasn't wearing my "Stich, of course. I save that for days in which I don't crash. But I did have the Elkskins on. My hands were unscathed, and the gloves, which certainly show signs of road rash, did not wear through at any point. I don't think I'll have to replace them. Which is more that I can say for the rest of what I was wearing, not to mention a layer or two of epidermis.

  6. Nice Gloves - Gauntlets too small - returned
Very nice gloves, but like other reviews state, the gauntlet is waay too small. Wouldn't fit over the cuffes of my leather jacket. I returned them , but will order a pair without the gaunlets in the Spring.

  7. Gauntlet to small
The gloves were returned, the gauntels were way too small to go over the cuffs of my Leather coat sleeves.

I will try a pair of these without the gauntlet in the spring.

  8. Good Gloves
Good gloves, but the sizing chart is extremely off. As suggested by "U.B.", you should get at least one full size larger than the scale on the website suggests. That being said, mine are still a bit tight, but I'm hoping they will stretch a bit over the next several months. I have found that they work best for me down to about 45 degrees. Less than that, and I use mittens. My freakin' thumbs always seem to be the most sensitive, regardless of what I wear.

  9. Perfect Glove
Finally a warm glove that fits with good dexterity. I like the gaunlet - goes over all my jackets with ease. They work great in 40-60 degree weather with wind. I live in Kansas - alot of wind. Haven't worn them in rain yet. Wish I had them when we rode to Florida - 36 in the mornings - BRR!.

  10. Seem alright, But...
they are not for larger hands. My measured glove size is 4", or a Large according to Aerostitch's sizing guide (though I typically wear an XL glove, maybe 'cuz I have sort of long fingers). I ordered up a size (got size 11) as recommended but the gloves were still way too tight..the liner got bunched up when I tried to put my hand in; it just wasn't going to work. Too bad they're not available in a larger size, they otherwise seemed pretty nice. Definitely order a size (or 2) larger...
