Engineer's Cotton Riding Shirt

Nice shirt, heavy weight, but way too big. Sent it back for an exchange.

Looks to be a nicely made shirt but the sizing is comically large. I read some of the reviews to that effect but thought, well, it’s probably not *that* bad. Well, it is! I’ve requested an exchange for the next size smaller and I’m wondering if even it will be too large.

It's really tough. This version is "prison made". That's okay, but i'm surprised it wasn't made in-house in Duluth. It's really too hot to wear it now, but i've given it it's first break in bath, and it did shrink down to a better fit. Just read about the slam against a tree process, will give it a go.

Great riding shirt, or a work shirt. Robust material. Excellent brand. I normally wear XL, after reading the reviews, I ordered L, it fits perfectly!
I just tried it under my riding jacket in the cold wind- Is warm. Cant say enough good things about this shirt. I am getting a second one.
Mine came with the Aerostitch patch, now I have a talking point with other Riders.
Comes out of the dryer wrinkled. A light Ironing takes care of this. May want to just let it air dry. When it gets broke-in it may be different, mines still new.
Worth every penny.

I'm 73" tall 225 Lbs. Normal size for me is 17X37
I ordered a XXL/Tall My wrists stick out on most shirts Andre the Giant would be lost in this shirt...LOL I'll be exchanging it.

The shirt is of good quality however the sizing is extremely large. I’m 5’7” 155 pounds and the medium in normal length is almost touching my knees. No way near acceptable. I wish this was better. communicated in the product description.

Construction is robust. Sizing was way off. -- far too large. Returned for smaller size.

This is a good, heavy shirt, well made from nice materials. A good riding overshirt, light jacket or fashion statement:-)

While I don't ride anymore (kinda long story). However, I still enjoy rugged clothing and this shirt fits that bill to a tee. I usually wear 2X shirts and so, having read on this site, that this shirt runs large. Boy does it ever. It is very large. Made me feel really sylph-like. I wore it like that, under a vest, and got several compliments on the shirt. I find it ruggedly attractive too. Anyway, washed it in the hot water cycle, tumble dried it ( ok, my wife did that. ) and it fits much better. Sleeves still long but my wide likes my manly forearms out so I rolled the sleeves up. Excellent shirt. High quality especially considering the price. I recommend if for riding and any other purpose one might need a tough shirt for.

Why Amazing: because when I got it my wife said, "I thought you ordered medium." I told her I did. She says, "Well it's extra, extra, extra large." I called Aerostitch, which has excellent customer support, and they told me it would shrink down quite a lot. It did not say to put it in hot water but I did. It shrunk down to my medium size and fits perfectly. It is also now very soft after one washing.
Wear it over my Bohn armor and love this shirt so much I will get another one.
