Odyssey DryCell Batteries

This is the second of these battery's I have purchased. I have one in my 1977 BMW that was installed 9 years ago and is working fine. So when the battery failed in my CBX, I bought another for my Honda. Great product

Great battery. This battery acts as a starting battery and a deep cycle battery. Meaning it can be run down and charge over and over again without burning it out. Starting batteries are not made to be recharged and discharged over and over again...not until this battery came out....will solve all your battery issues...such as sitting without use...i didnt keep this thing on a charger all winter...first warm day we had...it started right up...cant say enough about how great this battery is.

I first bought my first Odyssey for my '77 R60/7 when I was stuck in a remote town in Arkansas during a vacation trip. The battery was 'shippable' so I ponied up for what seemed like an expensive option just to get back on the road. My previous battery was a Westco, and I felt like it was a pretty darn good battery right up to the moment it would not hold a charge (of course, during the trip).

The Odyssey ended up lasting 4 years. I replaced it before it stopped working only because I was nervous that it was going to strand me after being in service so long. I never had to charge that battery at all. No battery tender. Nothing. It started the bike even after 2-3 months of sitting idle. I'm now on year three of Odyssey #2. I recommend them to all of my riding buddies. Maybe a bit more expensive than the usual suspects, but totally worth it.
