  1. Lives up to its claim as a motorcycle specific ...
After using the R15 for two weeks I can definitively say that even fully loaded, the stress on my shoulders while riding was next to nothing compared to a standard backpack. The stress points from everyday backpacks while riding have always been a gripe of mine which is why I've generally gravitated to sling-type packs, courier style bags, and tank bags when taking trips or hauling gear on my bike. While the R15 is a down-sized alternative to the larger products in the Kriega lineup, it is surprisingly capable as an overnighter or commuter , holding the right amount of gear in spite of its compact appearance. My only complaint, as noted by others as well, is that the plastic front chest clasp seems a bit flimsy in its construction and the rest of the compression slide buckle hardware on the pack could also have been made of sturdier/more durable feeling plastic. Given its premium price as a motorcycle specific product, I would have preferred a metallic (or at least heavy duty plastic) compression slide buckle on the front chest strap, as this would eliminate any questions about failure of the chest strap clasp at an inopportune moment during a ride. Overall, a well thought out product which would be absolutely perfect if only the slide buckle hardware and chest strap clasp were made of a bit more durable looking/feeling material. If Kriega is listening, I'm volunteering to be a beta tester for any of the product improvements I've suggested. {grin} I really like this product for its intended purpose, just please upgrade the buckle/clasp hardware on future models and you'll have me as a return customer for additional Kriega products. Ride safe and keep the rubber side down.

  2. Perfectly designed
This is already one of my favorite pieces of gear. It forms to your body and fits snugly. No flopping around or bumping against the seat. The attachment system is brilliant, and is the only one I've tried that easily slips over armor without getting snagged. Before I purchased the pack I read somewhere that it feels like an extension of your body, and that's exactly right.
