Perfect! There are few quality things in todays world. These gloves are one of them. If only Brooks would make a saddle for my Concours too...

No Road RashHave 2 pair since 2002. Had an accident and slid on my palms for 7 feet on ashpalt road with gravel. No damage to me or Gloves! I only wish my pairs had the rubber on the left index. They are not wearing out so I will have to suffer with them as is.

Best glove since ThurlowThese are the best gloves I've found yet since I had my Thurlow Leatherworld custom-made deerskins, and those cost a heck of a lot more. I burned through them while caught in an ice storm in the Poconos one year -- had to alternate placing my hands on my BMW's cylinders to keep from getting frostbitten. Since that time, I've not found any gloves as good until I found these. Even with an off-the-shelf size, they fit great, and work very well when worn with glove liners when temps are in the teens. Gonna get me an insulated pair to try. Absolutely love these gloves.

Fantastic Gloves-one problemThese gloves are really nice- they feel great and they protected me in a bad crash and they look good. My only problem is I just lost one :(

Quality glovesI've been wearing these for a couple years in all weather conditions and they've held up really well. I like them so much that I'm purchasing the Elkskin Gauntlets for cold weather duty and will hopefully be able to retire my glove liners. Awesome product and very comfortable even during long days in the saddle.

Time to retire and replaceDecided to buy a replacement pair of ropers. Called the warehouse and was surprised this pair were purchased in 02'...and they could tell me the size, still. I ride everyday and these gloves are an investment,...the one pair,...great construction so they feel like no other glove you wear.

Great crash protectionOn November 11, 2009 I hit and killed a 6 point, 150 lb deer on my Honda VFR. Though I was unconscious at the scene, and my Roadcrafter and Arai RX-7RR were destroyed, these gloves protected my hands perfectly - NOT A SCRATCH. It was a "chipseal" surface - super abrasive. Thanks to my riding gear - including these gloves, a broken collarbone is all that happened. Think I will buy another pair? You betcha ...

Ropers - I like 'emI like these gloves for riding my Harley. A guy working at a Harley shop recommended them. He wears a pair when riding his bike. I dont like wearing gloves when riding because when I have to react quickly bulky gloves don't make me feel like I have maximum dexterity. These are not bulky, They are comfy and flexible. I don't know how they will handle protecting me if I lay the bike down but that is my problem. My only complaint is that I ordered a size 10 and they feel just a little tight after using them for 6 months. I thought it would stretch out but it didn't. But once again that was my bad. For $39 I can afford to have two pair and order the next pair 1/2 size bigger, wear them around my house for a while and see if I get relief of that little bit of tightness I mentioned earlier and then use them as needed. Plus my first ones were the natural color and the next pair will be the black.

Best glovesJust ordered my 4th pair. As an instructor I'm a bit harsher on equipment from putting it on and taking it off so often in addition to normal riding. Elkskin Ropers have held up. Have repeatedly worn these for 10 hours straight.

Great light glovesI've been very happy with these gloves. They're comfortable, flexible and offer good weather protection while still working in warm weather. I did several 10 hour days with these last month and had no problems. There's no armor or padding, so they may not make you feel as safe as some other gloves, but I feel ok without that.
