Ear Cannon Air Horn

Other than some of those outsized trumpet horns, this is as loud a horn as is allowed on this and 2 other planets. I used it once to clear the road of some deer. A one second toot killed 3 of them, strung them up from a tree and field dressed them. What, you think I'm making this up?? True, tho small, it is still hard to find a suitable spot. I finally rigged a bracket to attach it to facing forward to the LH engine crash guard on Roadkill, my 1981 Suzuki GS 850G. This has the mouths of the horn facing fully forward to get the most volume headed straight ahead rather than out to the side. The force of the blast is strong enough to cause the bike to make an instant 90 degree left hand turn. I might set up a second horn on the right side to balance the effect and also create a VERY loud set of air brakes. What, you think I'm making this up?? Get the message, THE HORN IS LOUD. Can skin a racoon at 50 feet.

On 6/23 I posted my 2th review on the Ear Cannon Air Horn, as I stated I wasn't going to try for warranty because I had modified horn to fit. Aerostich Customer Service reached out to me and asked me to contact them, I called a day or two later and explained to the lady that I didn't expect anything from them because I had modified the housing, she informed me that (I believe she stated the owner) had asked her to contact me and offer a refund or replacement, I again told her that I wasn't asking for anything just telling my experience she said that the company was standing behind the products that they sold. I chose another horn as I like the volume and it had stopped a car from pulling out into me on a recent trip. This kind of customer service is above and beyond. I have been and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Taylor, Sorry this horn did not meet your requirements. If you contact us we’ll arrange either a full refund or an exchange for another one of these. Defective horns are very uncommon, so we’d like to learn more by testing this one.

First off- damn loud just as I wanted and expected. Little bit of a pain to mount on my HD Ultra but was able to mount under tour box bolted to tag bracket. I did have to trim off some of bugle to fit in but out of sight and rain. Worked great for 20-30 blast then nothing. I haven't tried for warranty because I did trim bugle but a 30$ paper weight now. I am glad others got good units, wish I had. I would advise against buying one. Not Aerostich fault just not a dependable horn.

Horn is very loud. A pain to locate a good place to place on HD dresser, ended up mounting under tour box on tag plate but now very secure and out of weather. I did have to trim some of the plastic but got it short enough to clear bottom of tour box.

Works great had no problem putting it on my bike had a bracket for it already

My second, first lasted 12+ years. Replaced it 18 months back with a $13 red plastic unit from eBay. Looked similar xcept trumpets faced down, not as loud and began to fail within a year. Wife got me the real deal Stebel Nautilus for birthday. Just put it on tonite. So loud it killed 3 cats 1/4 mile down the road. ;>D
To thos neg reviews, if it didn't take your eardrums out you got a defective OR maybe didn't use relay. Did you contact Aerostitch about it? To reviewer who had failure due to water intake. It should have come with an insert that fits into the intake throat to which you attach tubing you can route to a dry zone for preventing the intake of water or spray. I don't ride in the rain or ride a Ducati so mine hangs down off my LH case saver out in the open where it can blast the trunk open on any A-hole who cuts me off. Has saved my sorry ole butt on numerous occasions. Any legit seller like Aerostitch would take care of some of these issues if buyers would contact them. Just my opinion. Best horn out there save the actual RR locomotive units that are 2+ feet long.

OEM Motorcycle horns are dangerous and useless! THIS horn is a safety upgrade and should be a required db level for motorcycle manufacturers! I have installed a horn reputed to output 132 db vs. this 139db. I don't know how accurate these are but THIS horn is 4 TIMES louder!! Seriously consider purchasing.

Ear Cannon Air Horn -- I bought one a few years ago for my new Spyder - works great! Getting a newer model Spyder and so I now have another one for the new Spyder. CAN-AM is whimpy in this part of their design of a wonderful machine!
