  1. Best riding jeans yet
Fit is important - I'm 6' 205llbs, the 36x34 worked well - a bit snug, but still breaking in. Length is almost perfect. A little long for street shoes but perfect when on the bike with riding boots. Probably the heaviest denim pants I've ever experienced. The best part really is the removable knee pads. They can me taken out & put back in in seconds. This is a game changer. Quite a clever concept. Especially when riding to work. Should have ordered these jeans before buying a pair of cheaper kevlar riding jeans that do not fit nearly as nice as the ProTekt jeans.

  2. Quality Product
Ordered jeans in size I normally buy levis and the fit is perfect. I washed them four times, still a little too blue, but soft and more comfortable than my regular jeans. The knee pads are in a perfect spot. I am very pleased with the product and delivery.

  3. Summer Heat
I try to buy the best gear I can possibly wear in Alabama's sweltering summer heat. Its a problem when air movement doesn't cool you down. The heat and humidity can make riding unhealthy. I always liked the reputation of Aerostitch clothing but felt the heavy gear would be too hot. I opted for a pair of Protekt Jeans. I recieved the pants and ran them through the washer. Went for a 250 mile ride for testing. I can say they fit great, look good and are more comfortable then the Sliders or Draggin Jeans I have........I appreciate the comfort and protection they provide. I believe the pants, along with my Bohn under armor, will be cool and Protekt me while riding.

  4. Protekt Jeans
Aerostich quality, as usual. These jeans will outlast me, I'm sure--very comfortable and very well made. The knee pads slip into zippered pouches on both legs and are very convenient to remove for washing.

  5. Excellent Product
Purchased a pair of black Proteck jeans from my favorite moto outfitter. They are very well made and fit as advertised. Like the abrasion resistant material in all the right places, plus after a few times through the wash are comfortable. Buy the knee pads, too. Another value added product.

  6. Good quality but knee pads still too high
These riding jeans are very well built and fit just like 501's, maybe just a bit more baggy. Too bad they don't include the TF armour, and you'll have to purchase separately. Love the hidden zipper for them and the no wet butt layer. But as other reviewers have said, the knee pads still sit about 3 inches too high in the riding position. I emailed Aerostich to see if they could modify, but they said they don't make these in-house so they cannot do. Their advertising in a recent catalog even said that they had moved the pad pockets lower due to customer feedback, but they still are too high. I would suggest just making them adjustable like every other brand does with a few strips of velcro to adjust placement. I think they may work better for people with shorter legs < 34. If you are a 34-34, you may want to get the 34-36 so the pads are further down and just roll up or hem the bottoms. Would also be nice if they had 1 or 2 extra belt loops. 5 is just barely enough due to the weight and stiffness of the jeans.

  7. Protekt Jeans
Very stiff initially but after 1K miles and a wash the jeans are fitting perfectly. Also the zipper on the left knee T3 armor pocket needed to be freed up due to several loose threads jamming the zipper. Otherwise a good value for the on sale price.

  8. PROTEKT
I've debated about these jeans for well over a year before I finally bought these. Now I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. The fit is very comfortable. Knee pads fall into place for full protection. Very blue to begin with but afte a few washes this begins to change. Heavier denim yes but after wearing them for awhile the stiffness leaves and they are comfortable on the skin. Inner lining on top and knees add to the comfort level. Very pleased with these pants and intend to put a bunch more miles on them. Really hard to beat Aerostitch for function and quality.

  9. Great quality, I love them
These are really nice, good quality jeans. The extra cotton layer against the skin makes them very soft and comfy, while still being tough on the outside. I wear a 32x34 Levis, so that's what a I ordered and they are nearly dead on. I would note that they are just a little bit tighter in the waist than my Levis, but only after coming out of the dryer. They "get right" after wearing them an hour or so. My only grief is that they are a bit baggy in the thighs on my skinny frame, but not so much so that I don't want to wear them. The quick zip in / zip out knee armor is extremely handy, and makes riding the bike to social functions much more easy.

  10. change pockets
I have an older pair of these jeans, without the abrasive resistant materials, and now the newer with them. I feel more confident that I'll a little safer with them now. I do wish that the "change pocket", or auxiliary pocket, was about half as bit bigger than what it is now. I take priscription medication and put the pill box there and out of the way. Can't hardly get it out, or my earplugs when I put them there. I have a regular pair that I can put my whole fist in it, for no particular reason, just an example. And no, I don't have tiny Donald Trump hands. Otherwise great, solid jeans. Glad they're made in the USA!
